Job summary

VALCO is seeking a Full-Time Assembly Fan at the Coldwater, Ohio facility to fabricate and assemble designated fan models in the fan line and Hemi work centers, following our safety, quality, and productivity standards. Starting wage depends on experience, with opportunities up to $27.18 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble designated fan models in the fan line and Hemi work centers.
• Follow company methods, safety, quality, and quantity standards.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards and accurate counts on carton jobs.
• Set up assigned jobs as required.
• Move parts or loads into and out of the work station as required.
• Keep work area neat and orderly.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Perform fabrication and assembly operations for all designated fan models in fan line work center and Hemi fan work center.
• Perform all fabricating operations according to company methods, safety, quality, and quantity standards.
• Properly complete all required paperwork
• Assure parts meet quality standards and count is accurate on all cartoning jobs
• Setup assigned jobs as required
• Move parts or loads into and out of work station as required
• Keep work area neat and orderly

Essential Job Functions

• Must be able to turn laterally 90 degrees to right and left up to 200 times per hour for 8 hour shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs to shoulder height
• Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift
• Must be able to carry up to 40 lbs up to 6' distance up to 100 times per hour for 8 hour shift
• Must be able to legibly complete all necessary paperwork
• Must be able to align two parts and assemble with bolt, lockwasher and nut to meet quality and quantity standards
• Must be able to use appropriate hand tools, writing utensils and measuring devices required to meet quality, safety and quantity standards

Salary: $21.74 - $27.18 per hour
