Job summary

VAL-CO, a leader in poultry, egg, and swine equipment, is hiring a Full-Time Press Operator at its Coldwater, Ohio facility. Starting wages depend on experience plus a $2.50 shift differential, with a quarterly bonus, PTO after 90 days, and a floating holiday.

There is opportunity for advancement to skilled positions such as setup, laser, welder, and more. Responsibilities include operating production machines, reading blueprints, adjusting settings, inspecting parts, keeping logs, and

*STARTING WAGE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE+$2.50 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

* QUARTERLY BONUS

* PTO AND 1 FLOATING HOLIDAY upon completion of 90-day probationary period

* OPPORTUNITY FOR ADVANCEMENT IN TO SKILLED POSITIONS SUCH AS SETUP, LASER, WELDER, MACHINE ROOM, AUGER, ETC...

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely manner
• Ensure that the machine is maintained for the highest level of productivity and quality
• Perform in-process inspections on components being produced
• Complete required logs and shop tracking cards
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area
• BE ABLE TO MAKE PIECE RATE

*NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- TRAINING DONE ONSITE.
