Job Details
What You'll Do
- Assemble hydraulic valves, manifolds, cylinders, and other precision fluid power products using engineering drawings, bills of material, and work instructions
- Perform functional testing and inspection to verify products meet quality and performance specifications
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues identified during assembly or testing
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of material
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions to improve product quality and manufacturing processes
- Document assembly and testing activities using Windows-based software and Microsoft Office
- Create and install product identification plates and labels as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established manufacturing procedures
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production schedules
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience assembling, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, or testing hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, industrial, heavy equipment, military, or similar technical systems
- Military maintenance, aviation maintenance, heavy equipment, diesel equipment, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing experience is highly valued
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and measuring instruments
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems and components preferred
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and bills of material
- Proficient with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to oils, cleaning solvents, and industrial noise
- Occasional travel for training or customer support may be required
