Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. in Stevens Point, WI is seeking skilled assemblers to safely assemble sub-assemblies per customer specs and print requirements. You will operate machines, perform quality checks, document results, and assist with labeling and data entry.

Roles include shift options (1st, 2nd, 3rd) with overtime as needed and a competitive pay range. Eligible benefits cover medical, dental, retirement, HSA, life/illness, vacation, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to use hand/power tools, measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures
• Able to communicate effectively, and understand verbal and written instructions
• Basic computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and package components using hand and power tools, following verbal and written instructions, including blueprints
• Perform a variety of tasks/roles throughout the day including set up and operate various machines, or equipment
• Conduct required quality checks and complete required documentation (e.g.., scrap sheets, logs, data gathering, first/last piece inspection reports)
• Use computer for production-related tasks such as data entry and creating labels
• Operates various material handling equipment such as power pallet jacks, lifts and packaging wrappers
• Performs multiple tasks, and rotates from position to position as required in the production process
• Use appropriate PPE for the task assigned
• Regular attendance and ability to work overtime

The Assemblers in Stevens Point, WI safely and efficiently assembles a variety of sub-assemblies according to customer requirements, print specifications, and production requirements. Responsibilities include assembling products, operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

1st & 2nd Shifts Available

1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM [Monday through Friday]

2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM [Monday through Friday]

3rd Shift Hours: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM [Sunday through Thursday]

OT include Saturdays as needed .

Probationary training may be required on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM).

Pay Range: $21.96 to $23.55/hr. ($.45/hr. shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Preferred Qualification:

• Previous work experience in a production or industrial environment
• Able and willing to learn new tasks and train in other positions
