Job summary

Sandvik in Alachua, FL is seeking a Welder for our Production Team to assemble drilling rigs and subassemblies. You will weld to blueprints, use hand and power tools, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

We offer hourly pay ranging from $20 to $26, with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have 1+ year manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and welding certification. On-site role with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Welding certification and a strong mechanical background.
• Familiarity with hand tools and welding equipment.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work overtime or shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks to assemble subassemblies and drilling rigs.
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and checklists to ensure top-quality results.
• Use hand and power tools to support assembly based on BOM and manufacturing systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Assembly, Quality, Engineering, and more.
