Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Weaverville, NC is hiring Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. No prior experience is required, making this a great ground-floor opportunity to learn the assembly trade and grow with a stable employer.

You'll work on first or second shifts, read wiring diagrams, use hand tools, measure with a tape, lift up to 40 pounds, and contribute to quality by inspecting parts at key points. Reliable transportation is needed to arrive on time and stay through the shift.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Must have experience using and reading a tape measure
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time

• Apply and assemble wiring harnesses, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams to accomplish accurate assembly.
• Uses a wide range of hand tools, drills, rivet guns, saws, hy-pot testers, and drill presses.
• Inspect parts during sub-assembly and at key points toensure that unit meets specified quality standards prior to moving unit to the next workstation.
• Clean and pack final product using approved chemicals.

Spherion is hiring Assemblers for positions in the Weaverville and Woodfin, NC areas. There is no experience required for this job so it is a great opportunity to learn and grow!

Work Schedules Available

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm
