Your Role as an Assembler/Tester Technician
Operating on the 1st shift from Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, this onsite position centers on hands-on production and process optimization. You will collaborate with production, quality, and supervisory staff to build and evaluate products, ensuring our team consistently hits quality benchmarks and delivery timelines.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction by building and verifying products according to strict quality and delivery timelines
- Execute various production tasks including surface finishing, painting, detailing, subassembly, and lock wiring
- Utilize a variety of electronic and mechanical tools, hand/power equipment, and specialized inspection devices
- Support team accuracy by documenting test outcomes and keeping precise calibration and production records
- Review and apply technical information from engineering orders, blueprints, assembly routes, and quality standards
- Help drive operational efficiency by spotting chances to reduce costs and improve productivity through lean practices
- Maintain a secure and organized workspace to prevent foreign object damage and uphold all safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Completion of high school or GED program (documentation required before interviewing)
- Verification of U.S. citizenship status
- Minimum of two years of direct experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow written work instructions and technical blueprints
- Competency in fundamental shop mathematics
- Basic computer literacy skills
Preferred Skills
- Background in electronics technology or a related post-secondary degree
- Practical experience with soldering techniques
Compensation
The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.80 - $21.00.
