Your Role as a Production Assembler 2
In this onsite, second-shift position, you will contribute to our evening production operations through mechanical and electromechanical assembly tasks. By adhering to strict process standards, conducting thorough inspections, and keeping your workspace organized, you will directly influence our overall throughput and quality. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday commitment.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute standard mechanical and electromechanical assembly tasks in alignment with established company protocols.
- Verify the accuracy of your own work and the output of colleagues to ensure all items meet design specifications.
- Help maintain high production standards by documenting time and output data according to process requirements.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment while engaging in mandatory team activities.
- Utilize light machinery such as presses or sandblasting tools and perform fundamental soldering, brazing, or welding duties.
- Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ensure consistent and punctual attendance, including the flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as the business requires.
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of directly related professional experience.
- Demonstrated background in electromechanical assembly.
- A high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in executing standard mechanical and electromechanical assembly procedures.
- Capability to effectively operate various hand tools and light equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply manufacturing instructions, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Strong manual dexterity to successfully manage and assemble small components.
- Clear verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of vocational training, an apprenticeship, or equivalent experience within a relevant industry.
- Previous experience working within an electronics or PCBA manufacturing setting.
Compensation
The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.14 to $22.68.
