Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Cedar Rapids is hiring a hands-on Mechanical Assembler / Tester to support North America's largest distributor of Fluid Power & Motion Control Solutions. This role requires reading gauges, using hand tools, and performing basic assemblies and testing of hydraulic components.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $18.25 per hour. The successful candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to quality, and a teamwork

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in hydraulic system testing or related mechanical testing environment.
• Production Assembly, Technical and Mechanical experience.
• Proficient with hand tools, gauges, and test instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing and removing fittings.
• Complete basic assembles and testing.
• Place products on pallets for storage.
• Box and prep units for shipments.
• Pull orders or put orders away.
• Audit POs as kits come in to verify part quantities.
• Clean up building (mop, sweep, take out trash, break down boxes and stack totes).

Shift: 8am – 4:30pm | Mon-Fri

Pay: $18.25 / hour

Remedy is currently seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler / Tester for North America's largest distributor of Fluid Power & Motion Control Solutions. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of fluid power systems, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with installing and removing fittings
• Complete basic assembles and testing
• Place Products on Pallets for Storage
• Box and Prep units for shipments
• Pull orders or put orders away
• Audit PO's as kits come in to verify part quantities
• Clean Up building (Mop, Sweep, Take out the trash, break down boxes and stack empty part totes)
