Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electronic Assembler to join the Production Team. The role involves performing a range of assembly tasks from diagrams and drawings using hand and power tools, with emphasis on quality and process adherence.
You will train in-house to perform soldering, wiring, and subassembly work, while meeting production goals and following engineering drawings and QA procedures. Training lasts three weeks onsite.
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
You will be the Electronic Assembler with our dynamic Production Team. Our team is responsible for bringing electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies to life, working on a wide range of projects from modules and boards to panels and cables.
As the Assembler, you will be trained in-house to become responsible for performing a variety of tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations, to ensure the highest quality products. You will work from diagrams and drawings, using hand and power tools, jigs, and saws to bring our designs to life. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Have completed and is certified in classroom electrical assembly and solder training. Trained to IPC and J-STD-001.Operating automated equipment, understanding of mechanical assembly and process flow. Prior SAP Software experience is a plus (on the job training will be provided).Strong teaming ability and effective communication skills.Critical thinking and problem solving.
Full-Time Salary Range: $27900.00 - $51700.00
