Job summary

SP Industries Inc. in Gardiner, NY is seeking an Assembler Lead to manage production of parts, subassemblies and units. You will coordinate people, materials, tools and procedures to meet Work Orders in quality, cost and delivery targets.

The role promotes ATS leadership standards, trains and supports staff, and ensures accurate reporting and safety compliance across the department. Strong electromechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or electrical equipment manufacturing is a plus.
• Basic working knowledge of electricity and electromechanical equipment.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly workplace.
• Identify and remove obstacles that prevent employees from completing work effectively.
• Train, coach, and support employees to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Maintain accurate records of manufacturing activities for management review.
• Identify and encourage opportunities for improvement.
• Assess Work Orders for accuracy and notify management of discrepancies.
• Stop production and take corrective actions to prevent nonconforming products.
• Provide timely feedback and participate in performance reviews.
