The role requires strong safety discipline, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience in a manufacturing environment. Office/shop environment; benefits include health plans and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Basic working knowledge of electricity and electromechanical equipment.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly workplace.
• Identify and remove obstacles to productivity.
• Train, coach, and support employees to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Maintain accurate records of manufacturing activities for management.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate discrepancies to management.
• Correct unsafe conditions and stop production when necessary to prevent nonconforming products.
• Provide timely feedback and participate in performance reviews as per policy.
• Report labor, production and quality information to management.
• Capable of performing all duties of subordinates and assign priority of work in department.
• Assist subordinates in set-ups, quality and production; ensure equipment and processes are safe.
• Observe and enforce health, safety and environmental procedures.
