Job summary

dormakaba Americas in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a First Shift Assembler II (6:00AM-2:30PM). The role performs assembly and packaging tasks in manufacturing and may train lower-level assemblers. Base salary ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive benefits package.

Overtime may be required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, SAP experience, and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of complex production and assembly processes by following assembly work instructions.
• Operate various production assembly machines, and may use hand tools to assemble products.
• Use basic test equipment to make routine mechanical measurements, and to replace faulty components and wiring as needed.
• Visually inspect parts to quality standards as described in the quality system, communicating any problems which arise to the supervisor/lead person.
• Pack finished product as set forth by work instruction, including instructional sheets and any necessary hardware.

dormakaba is seeking a First Shift (6:00AM-2:30PM) Assembler II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Assembler II is responsible for performing assembly and packaging tasks required in the manufacturing process. This position may provide training to lower-level assemblers.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $18/hr. - $23/hr. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). What You Will Do
