Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Machinist II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Machinist II is responsible for performing machine setups, tool changes, and adjusting as necessary

This position may be available on Third Shift (9:30PM - 6:00AM) with a base pay range of $23/hr. - $27/hr. plus $.75/hr. shift differential. Mandatory overtime as needed

$2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)

What you will do

• Operate machine according to standard operating instructions
• Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP)
• Use micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparator

What we require

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Extensive experience operating, setups, tool changes, etc.
• Understanding of shop math & blueprint reading/comprehension Geometric Dimensional and Tolerance (GD&T)
• Ability to perform advanced quality inspections
• Professional communication skills
