Job summary

MKS, Inc. is seeking an Assembler 2 to join the Operations team and perform a wide range of mechanical assembly tasks. You will report to the Operations Manager and contribute to quality, efficiency, and safety in daily manufacturing.

The role involves following detailed work instructions, tolerances, and specifications while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex products, subassemblies, and components according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Determine and follow methods and sequence of operations for component installation, welding and testing.
• Set-ups and adjustments while holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products.
• Run wash station to clean piece parts and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues using established procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S activities.
• Train and mentor Assembler I and II on assembly methods, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
