Eaton's Reno, NV facility is seeking an Assembler II - 2nd Shift Packing (Trainer). This on-site role pays $22.73 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential, with core hours 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, in Reno, NV.

You will perform simple bench assembly, use hand tools, read blueprints, and handle up to 50 pounds. The job emphasizes lean and continuous improvement, 5-S, and Kaizen participation, under close supervision.

Qualifications

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking an Assembler II - 2nd Shift Packing (Trainer) at our Reno, NV facility! The rate for this position is $22.73 + .50 shift differential per hour.

The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

What You’ll Do

• Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components
• Use bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices
• Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams
• Handle 50-pound parts with or without accommodation to assist with large part construction
• Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:
• Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas.
• Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.
• Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.
