Job summary

Moog is hiring an Assembler II for the 2nd shift in Salt Lake City, UT. You will join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team, reading drawings, assembling components, and ensuring quality on a 9/80 schedule with Fridays off.

The role requires 3+ years of electro/mechanical assembly experience, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office. Aerospace experience is a plus, with opportunities for lean initiatives and cross-training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/vocational training with emphasis on mechanical systems preferred.
• 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing; aerospace experience preferred.
• Ability to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, BOMs and specs.
• Prior experience with circuit cards and understanding of ESD.
• Proficient in MS Office; lean/continuous improvement background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment.
• Install parts/components on in-process products and sub-assemblies.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and document daily production records; cross-train on lines.
