Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (1st Shift) in Salt Lake City, UT to support the 21st century Warfighter. The role involves wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have basic communication skills, ability to solve defined problems, and competence in reading and communicating in English. Soldering experience and microscope use are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to obtain a J-STD-001 Soldering certification.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work using a microscope.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring and component installation and hand soldering using hand and pneumatic tools.
• May perform mechanical assembly, cable assembly, component forming and mounting, high reliability assembly.
• Complete part marking and simple continuity checks on work in process and completed units.
