Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (1st Shift) for Salt Lake City, UT. You will perform wiring, component installation and hand soldering, disassembling and reworking units per diagrams and drawings, using a microscope where required.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED with 2 years in production, a J-STD-001 soldering certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to obtain a J-STD-001 Soldering certification.
• Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work using a microscope.
• Strong reading and writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring and component installation and hand soldering.
• Disassemble, modify, rework or reassemble units.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
• Complete part marking and simple continuity checks on work in process and finished units.
• May perform mechanical assembly, cable assembly and high reliability assembly.
• Work with chemicals and solvents for long periods.
