Job summary

Manpower is hiring a Line Worker – 1st Shift to support the painting process in a metal manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include prepping, loading, and unloading parts, plus inspecting items before and after painting to uphold quality standards.

You will identify defects, perform basic touch-ups, and follow all safety and quality procedures to contribute to a safe, efficient production line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• 6+ months of manufacturing, general labor, or paint line experience (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic computer functions
• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Line Worker – 1st Shift

Pay: Up to $17/hour

What You’ll Do

As a Paint Line Worker, you will support the paint process from start to finish by:

• Prepping, loading, and unloading metal parts onto the conveyor line
• Inspecting parts before and after painting to ensure quality standards are met
• Identifying defects such as rust, scratches, overspray, or missing components
• Performing basic touch-ups and rework as needed
• Following all safety guidelines and quality procedures

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (required)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift

• Reaching overhead and below shoulder level

Work Environment

• Manufacturing shop environment with temperature changes
• Exposure to loud noise (hearing protection required)
