Job summary

Vervic Inc. in Decatur, AL is seeking a Paint Line Utility Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. No prior experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided to help you learn quickly on the paint line.

You will hang parts, move finished pieces to pallets, inspect coatings for quality, and keep accurate records while following safety procedures. This is a full-time role on 1st/2nd shifts with competitive pay and growth potential.

Responsibilities

• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Follow safety, quality and production procedures.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

Paint Line Utility Operator

Location: Decatur, AL

Pay: $16.67 per hour / $17.67 per hour

Shift: 1st and 2nd

What You'll Do

• Hanging parts onto the paint line for processing.


• Removing finished parts from the paint line and stacking them on pallets.


• Inspecting painted parts for quality, proper paint coverage, and damage.


• Maintaining accurate production records and completing required paperwork.


• Operating safely while working with paints, chemicals, solvents, and lubricants.


• Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe.


• Following all company safety, quality, and production procedures.


• Assisting with other duties as needed.


• Opportunity to train and advance into a Paintline Painter position.

Physical Requirements

This position is physically active and requires applicants to:

• Stand for the majority of a 10-hour shift.


• Frequently walk, bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
