Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Mequon, WI is hiring for a full-time manufacturing Assembler level 1 on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) in the 487 department. You will perform electronic or electro-mechanical assembly and follow documented instructions to build subassemblies.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, U.S. work authorization, and the ability to read and follow blueprints. Overtime is common, with compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• U.S. work authorization; Rockwell will not sponsor visas.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Typically no prior related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Follow documented work instructions and bill of materials for light assemblies.
• Make setups and adjustments to meet blueprint tolerances.
• Overtime is an essential function, roughly 20 hours/week.
