Rockwell Automation in Mequon, Wisconsin is hiring for an Assembler Level 2 on the 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM). Starting rate is $19.50 per hour with a 6% shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience accepted.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
• Experience in assembly of electro‑mechanical products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive assembly of electro‑mechanical equipment control modules.
• Follow wiring sequences and assembly drawings per process.
• Assist with rework of test anomalies as directed by testers.
• Prepare products for shipment; create labels and reports.
• Adhere to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity standards.
• Work overtime as needed, typically ~20 hours per week.

What Rockwell Needs from You

Immediate hiring need for a full‑time manufacturing Assembler Level 2 on 2nd Shift (Monday‑Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) in the 421 department. Starting rate $19.50 per hour with a 6% shift premium.

Job Summary

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies, including wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing, with setups and adjustments to meet blueprint specifications.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Repetitive assembly of pre‑engineered electro‑mechanical equipment control modules.
• Follow established sequencing of hardware and wiring installations using predefined tools and fixtures.
• Take direction from manufacturing team leads and perform rework of product test anomalies as instructed by a tester.
• Prepare product for shipment, provide manufacturing order support (engraving, labels, reports).
• Adhere to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, procedures, policies, and metrics.
• Perform overtime as an essential function, typically requiring 20 hours per week.

Skills

• Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hard‑copy drawings and work instructions.
• Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks.
• Assemble components and sub‑assemblies in an assembly line fashion per specific defined process and within a defined time frame.
• Use mandatory tools including component lead cutters, crimpers, forming and insertion press fixtures, hand tools, fully automated test systems, torque drivers, lifting fixtures, hoist and crane.
• Work from established product bill of materials and assembly drawings of products manufactured both current and past.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Basic ability to read, write, and speak English.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 1 year of verified related experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Typically requires 1 year of previous related experience.
