UFP Industries, Inc. in Delano, PA is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products according to customer specifications. You will set up the work area, fit parts, and use hand tools to complete assemblies with emphasis on quality.

The role requires attention to safety and cleanliness, maintenance of production records, and participation in safety and continuous improvement programs as needed.

Qualificações

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required; 6 months manufacturing/assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products and labels/bands components if required.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized; equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
