Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking an Assembly I to fabricate components or assemble finished products per customer specifications. You will set up the workspace, select parts, and use hand tools to complete the job while upholding quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized area, recording production data, and supporting safety/CI programs. A high school diploma or GED is acceptable; 18+ and 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience; 6 months manufacturing/assembling preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together per instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools to complete assembly.
• Stacks products and may label/band finished goods.
• Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized; ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift startup inspection checklist and reports problems.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
