Job summary

Generac is seeking an Assembler I in Oshkosh, WI to perform assembly of products to high quality and efficiency. You will follow work instructions, validate materials, assemble to specifications, and maintain clean, safe work areas with proper PPE. Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00–3:00, overtime on alternating Saturdays; pay $22.60/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to effectively communicate in a team environment.
• Manufacturing or mechanical experience, including knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Uses work instructions and drawings to perform assembly with safe operation of equipment.
• Cross trains in multiple assembly areas and flex to other departments as needed.
• Develops understanding of products and their business impact.
• Participates in team meetings and resolves problems with supervisor support.
• Provides basic training on work instructions as needed.
