Job summary

Volt in Orangeburg, SC is hiring Assemblers to read work orders, assemble components, and verify quality on the production line. You will operate basic hand tools, align parts, and tend machines while ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a Monday–Friday 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. The ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 35 pounds, read English, and operate in a manufacturing environment with ERP/MRP awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer and basic software (ERP/MRP systems preferred).
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow drawings or verbal instructions.
• Position and align parts using jigs or fixtures.
• Crimp, screw, weld, or assemble parts per instructions.
• Mount assemblies to boards or units and install subassemblies as needed.
• Perform go/no-go testing and inspection to meet specs.
