Job summary

Peak Workforce Solutions (NEWBOLD SERVICES) is hiring for Assemblers in Manning, SC. This role operates production line machinery and supports quality control to ensure specifications are met. The position is on-site with a 2nd shift: Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with some weekend work required.

You should be comfortable reading a tape measure and lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong work ethic, teamwork, and safety

Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery and computers.
• Troubleshoot production line machinery and perform change-overs.
• Maintain quality control and adjust processes to meet specifications.
• Complete daily production reports and related documentation.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees and assist with material orders.

Peak Workforce Solutions (NEWBOLD SERVICES) is currently hiring for Assemblers in Manning, SC

• Pay rate is $17.00/hour.

2nd Shift Monday thru Friday 3pm - 11:30pm. [Some weekend work required.]

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate production line machinery and computers
• Troubleshoot production line machinery
• Perform change-overs
• Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce within specifications. Reject product outside of specification.
• Operate within standard operating procedures.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on production line machinery.
• Communication with Operators and Supervisors
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Accurately complete process documents
• Complete daily production reports as necessary.
• Perform back-up for others as required
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Order raw materials and supplies
• Able to read a tape measure
• Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned

Skills And Abilities

• Experience working in manufacturing preferred
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
