Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS), a division of EnerSys, is seeking an Assembler to join our high‑tech production team. You will assemble batteries, chargers and accessories according to specifications, maintaining safety and quality.

You should have a High School Diploma and 1+ year experience, be comfortable handling electrical and mechanical components, and willing to work on a production floor with lifting up to 50 lbs. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Good hand/eye coordination for precision assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic manual assembly with little or no special tools.
• Assemble batteries, chargers and accessories following supervisor’s directions and work instructions.
• Includes applying tape, heat shrink sleeve, hot melt glue cells, stripping wires, applying tie wraps.
• Assist in applying labels to shipping boxes and/or pack products.
• Maintain assigned safety equipment.
• Maintain daily production quantity records.
• Report anomalies and damaged equipment.
• Consistently assemble daily expected quantities.

Compensation Range: $17.00-$18.00 per hour.

The Assembler at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and manufacture of advanced power solutions, will be responsible for assembling electronics components accurately according to specifications and quality requirements.

General Job Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
• Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
• This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
