Job summary

Wabash seeks an Assembler Coordinator to support the supervisor in meeting production goals on the shop floor. The role involves semi-skilled manual tasks, using various tools, equipment, and safety practices while maintaining quality per Wabash standards.

You will lead hourly employees, uphold safety plans, and perform duties with independent judgment. Training is provided to prepare you for production responsibilities on site.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading/writing and verbal skills.
• Good people skills are required.
• Ability to learn and run required computer applications.
• Must possess math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.
• Willing to become proficient in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor to meet production goals on the manufacturing floor.
• Lead a team of hourly employees.
• Perform semi-skilled manual duties with knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment, and safety.
• Adhere to and enforce the safety plan.
• Be willing to take on other duties as requested by supervisor.
• Exercise independent judgement in job functions.
• Ensure work quality aligns with Wabash standards.
• Report absences directly to supervisor; maintain good attendance.
• Be available for overtime.
