Job summary

Wabash is seeking assemblers to perform a variety of tasks on production floors, including installing subassemblies, rivets, decals, and related parts. Training is provided after an offer letter, with orientation and days of production floor training to prepare you for the role.

Ideal candidates will have basic reading, writing, and verbal skills; prior experience is a plus but not required. Expect a safety-conscious environment with PPE and fast-paced manufacturing work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Basic reading, writing, & verbal skills
• Experience and education are a plus; however, it’s not required. Wabash provides training for all assembler positions.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery
• Keep the work area free of potential hazards
• Measure, cut and caulk materials
• Install rivets
• Operate heavy machinery
• Install truck bed flooring
• Follow decal templates and blueprints
• Install signs, reflectors, fenders, mud flaps, and other parts
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
• Wear approved PPE and follow safety policies
