Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking an assembler to build metal products on the shop floor or at a bench, following detailed assembly instructions and controlled documents.

You will position parts, fasten components, and operate drills and hand tools to produce a complete unit that passes final inspection. The role requires reading comprehension, basic math, and adaptability to other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to unit being assembled or controlled documents.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
• Operates drills and hand/air impact wrenches and hand tools.
• Produces a completed unit capable of passing final inspection.
• Other duties as assigned.
