Quanex in Chehalis, WA is seeking an Assembler to join our team. You will cut and assemble door or window screen frames to changing specifications, using measuring devices. This 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM shift offers overtime potential.

You will follow safety procedures, inspect for defects, verify sizes and configurations, apply labels, and prepare frames for the next step. The role supports a fast-paced, collaborative environment with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of production or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and notify supervisor of any safety issues.
• Visually inspect for defects or errors throughout the process.
• Verify size, color, and configuration according to labeling system.
• Ensure adherence to standard work.
• Apply labels to frames upon completion.
• Queue frames for the next step (screen rolling).
• Cross-train to gain proficiency in neighboring positions.
• Be punctual and adhere to scheduled hours.

The Assembler is responsible for working cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble door or window screen frames to changing specifications, using a measuring device. This position is scheduled for 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

What Success Looks Like?

Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour
