Quanex Building Products Corp. in Chehalis, WA is seeking an Assembler to cut and assemble door or window screen frames to changing specifications, using a measuring device. This position is scheduled for 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to supervisor.
• Visually inspect for defects or errors throughout process.
• Verify size, color, and configuration according to labeling system.
• Apply labels to frame upon completion.
• Sequence into rack for next step (screen rolling).
• Cross train to ensure proficiency in neighboring positions.
• Attend scheduled hours on time.

The Assembler is responsible for working cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble door or window screen frames to changing specifications, using a measuring device. This position is scheduled for 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

What Success Looks Like?

Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour
