Job summary

Quanex Building Products Corp. is seeking an Assembler for our Parkersburg, WV location. You will cut and assemble window screen frames to specifications using a computer‑driven measuring device, working 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools including tape measure, air drill, and pneumatics saws.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor products to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain a neat, orderly work area per 5S standards.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
• Assemble components according to customer specifications.
• Inspect products for defects and confirm size, color, and configuration.
• Complete production documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with team to promote teamwork.
• Assist in other areas when workload permits.

Quanex is looking for a Assembler to join our team located in Parkersburg, WV.

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with team members to cut and assemble window screen frames to changing specifications, using a computer‑driven measuring device.

Hours of Operation: 7am to 3:30pm Monday thru Friday

What Success Looks Like:

• Monitor products constantly to ensure quality standards.
• Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards.

Your Credentials:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools including tape measure, air drill, and pneumatics saws.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal communication.

The hourly wage for this position is $16.00, with bonus potential.
