Job summary

Quanex is seeking a 1st Shift Assembler in Rice Lake, WI. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with potential overtime. The target hourly wage is $18.50. Responsibilities include machine operation, setting up processes, and fabricating window screens with cloth installation.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines for screen assembly.
• Perform manual window screen fabrication and cloth installation.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines; report safety issues to supervisor.
• Attend work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What Success Looks Like:

• Machine operation and setup
• Manual window screen fabrication and cloth installation
• Quality checks
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues
• Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
