Quanex is seeking an assembler for our Chehalis, WA location. The role involves cutting and assembling door or window screen frames to changing specifications using measuring devices. The schedule runs from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime potential and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines; notify supervisor of safety issues.
• Visually inspect for defects or errors throughout process.
• Verify size, color, and configuration according to labeling system.
• Apply labels to frame upon completion.
• Sequence into rack for next step (screen rolling).
• Cross-train to ensure proficiency in neighboring positions.
• Attend work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
