Job Title: Cable Assembly Technician Job Description
This role focuses on building cable assemblies from scratch within a fast-growing cable cell area that uses a batching method for production. You will work across multiple stations to cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires, contributing to the assembly of medical instruments in a clean, well-organized, and regulated manufacturing environment. The position offers thorough training across all stations so you can develop a broad skill set and avoid repetitive, single-task work.
You will join a laid‑back, supportive environment that combines fast‑paced, engaging projects with a strong focus on employee enjoyment and development. The facility has been fully renovated, offering comfortable break areas with shuffleboard, darts, foosball tables, and regular coffee and snacks, as well as canteen vending. The culture encourages work‑life balance through fun activities such as floor hockey and basketball, and allows you to wear headphones while you work. A thorough new training program provides structured learning and real‑time feedback, supporting long‑term growth and career advancement. With build plans already laid out through 2026 and into 2027, you can rely on stability, ongoing opportunities, and a clear path to develop your skills.
The work takes place in a very nice, clean, comfortable, and well‑lit facility that produces medical instruments in a regulated but non‑cleanroom environment. The atmosphere is laid back yet fast paced, with a focus on both productivity and enjoyment. The current schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., providing a consistent second‑shift work pattern. The environment is temperature‑controlled, and the primary PPE requirement is wearing an ESD smock. Employees may wear headphones while working, though phone usage is tightly controlled to maintain focus and safety. Dress code is casual and practical, typically jeans with a collared shirt. The facility includes renovated break rooms with comfortable seating, shuffleboard, dart boards, foosball tables, and convenient access to coffee, snacks, and canteen vending, creating a pleasant and modern workplace.
