Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an Assembler II for a temp-to-hire, onsite position in the greater Simi Valley area. The Assembler II builds all product and sub-assemblies and ensures quality according to approved work instructions.

Responsibilities include assembling to Production System standards, providing line support, identifying nonconformities, and maintaining strict quality. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand 8 hours, and work well both independently and in a team.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand and execute written instructions.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in English.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble products per Production System standards.
• Provide production line support.
• Identify nonconforming items and address deviations.
• Adhere to Quality System requirements.
• Produce goods in a timely and efficient manner, meeting time standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify shortages and notify Supply Chain as needed.
• Identify root causes when reworking product.
• Work without supervision and collaborate with team as required.

JSG is seeking an Assembler II for a temp to hire, onsite position for our medical device manufacturing client in the greater Simi Valley area. The Assembler II is a vital part of the operation. The position builds all product and sub assemblies. The Assembler II ensures product is made efficiently and according to company approved work instructions while maintaining strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products per Production System standards
• Provide production line support
• Identify nonconforming items
• Adhere to companyQuality System requirements
• Produce goods in a timely and efficient manner. Meets or exceeds production and support time standards.
• Conscious of continuous improvement while working
• Solve problems when encountered with the help of management staff
• Identify possible shortages in inventory. Notifying Supply Chain when necessary.
• Identify root cause when reworking product
• Does not require supervision

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
• Must be able to read, understand, and execute written, verbal and visual instructions.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma 2 years work experience in manufacturing

Pay rate

Pay rate: $26/hr.
