Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking an Electronics Assembler II for a client in Hauppauge, NY. This role focuses on precision assembly of electronic modules and subassemblies, turning detailed schematics into reliable products.

You'll follow detailed work instructions, inspect quality, and work with appropriate tooling. Candidates should have soldering experience and ability to read drawings; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of soldering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Proficiency in assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and systems.
• Skilled in following detailed instructions, visual aids, wiring lists, and diagrams.
• Familiarity with appropriate tooling and techniques for electronic assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and subassemblies per drawings.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and wiring lists.
• Ensure high quality and reliability of electronic modules.

Pay $24/hour

Required Skills

• Minimum of two years of soldering experience
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
• Proficiency in assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and systems
• Skilled in following detailed instructions, visual aids, wiring lists, and diagrams
• Familiarity with appropriate tooling and techniques for electronic assembly

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working with electronic wiring lists and routing instructions
• Additional certifications in electronics or soldering techniques
• Experience working with circuit boards and electronic modules

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in electronics assembly or a related field
