Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in Covington, GA is seeking a warehouse associate to join a busy team. You will move kits into bags for shipment and help transport pallets around the facility, with attention to accuracy and safe handling.

Requirements include 1+ year in a warehouse/manufacturing/quality role, the ability to read rulers, basic math, and the stamina to lift over 50 lbs. Overtime may be required, shift 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri, pay $15.50/hour.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must have at least one year of experience in a warehouse/manufacturing/or quality position.
• Must be one continuous year on the same job as a minimum.
• Ability to read rulers and perform basic math calculations.
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs and work in a hot/cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and operate basic equipment such as inspection tools and handcarts.
• Sort and inspect materials and maintain quality records.
• Move pallets throughout the building and assist line work when needed.
• Adhere to SOPs, quality guidelines and documentation practices.
• Follow attendance policy and work in a focused, team-oriented environment.

We are also having a difficult time with childish behavior on this team. We are looking for professionals who will pay attention and work, not gossip all day.

This teams space is limited. They have 60+ people in a small space. So many of the folks are shoulder to shoulder while working.
One of the new hires will be strictly working on the line putting kits into a bag that will be shipped out to customers.
The other 4 people will be moving pallets throughout the building and, in their down time, working on the line as well.

Uses a variety of equipment such as inspection and light equipment, handcarts, to move materials, parts, assemblies and scrap products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. Sort and inspect materials. Ability to read rulers, and must have good vision. Must maintain quality records, have good writing skills, and maintain good documentation practices. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps. Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. Works under general to limited supervision.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent PREFERRED
Experience:
1+ year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand. Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations. Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.
