Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc in El Paso, TX seeks an assembler for contract work on medical devices. You will perform fabrication, assembly, testing and packaging while setting up and maintaining equipment. You will also inspect quality and follow SOPs to ensure compliance. Reading English specs and simple math are required.

The role requires 2nd shift hours (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and a strong teamwork mindset to rotate into different tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, interpret specifications in English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, test and package medical devices; set up and operate equipment.
• Perform quality inspections on processing lines per SOPs and quality guidelines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment as needed.

Total Hours/week - 40.00
pay range -$16-20/hr
Shift Work days/hours : 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

• Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.? High school diploma or equivalent.?
• Zero (0) to one (1) year of manufacturing assembly experience.?
• Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor canunderstand.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and performbasic math calculations.
• Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes.
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.? Has good attention to detail
