In this hands-on role, you'll help build critical mechanical components and assemblies used in oil and gas applications, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in precision craftsmanship, and want to grow your manufacturing career with an innovative industry leader, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.What You'll DoAs an Assembler, you'll play a vital role in the manufacturing process by:Assembling mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to blueprints, work instructions, and engineering specificationsReading and interpreting technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and torque specificationsOperating light semi-automatic equipment for grinding, sanding, drilling, and gasket cuttingAssisting with pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing activities according to established proceduresBuilding final assemblies that meet detailed engineering drawings and production requirementsPerforming in-process inspections to verify quality standards and customer specificationsEnsuring assembled products function as intended and meet performance expectationsMaintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environmentCollaborating with team members to support training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement effortsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED0-3+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or oil and gas environmentAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentationStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to accurately manage part numbers, quantities, measurements, and production documentationReliable transportation to and from workWillingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, and hand protectionAbility to comply with shop floor safety requirements, including no jewelry policiesPreferred QualificationsExperience working with high-pressure components, valves, fittings, or similar industrial equipmentFamiliarity with torque procedures, sealing methods, and precision tolerancesUnderstanding of quality systems and safety standards within oil and gas or heavy industrial manufacturing environmentsMechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while maintaining production goalsWhy Join Us?At PDS Tech Commercial, we're committed to connecting talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at world-class organizations.
