Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring for an Assembler in Roscoe, IL. The position offers 1st shift hours from 6:00am to 4:00pm and a wage of $17.00 per hour. The role involves assembling dispenser units, following written and on-screen directions, and safety-conscious work practices.

• Assembling large and small units according to customer specifications at a quick pace.
• Following step by step written and on-screen directions to assemble dispenser units.
• Rotating workstations every two hours to perform different assembly processes may be required.
• Using hand and Pneumatic power tools including a torque gun.
• Soldering and gluing parts may be required during assembly process.

Assembler Position Overview

Assembler Responsibilities

• Organizing workstation and evaluating workstation for safety daily.
• Assembling large and small units according to customer specifications at a quick pace.
• Following step by step written and on-screen directions to assemble dispenser units.
• Rotating workstations every two hours to perform different assembly processes may be required.
• Using hand and Pneumatic power tools including a torque gun.
• Soldering and gluing parts may be required during assembly process.

Assembler Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25lbs continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, twist, and reach continuously.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements.
• Some assembly experience required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions in English.
• Ability to read blueprints and have good mechanical aptitude preferred.
