Job summary

Total Talent Solutions in Rainsville, AL is seeking an Assembler to build laminations, cores, and coils per engineering specs. You will prepare components, operate presses to laminate coils into steel assemblies, and perform soldering with strong attention to quality.

Safety rules and PPE are required across a fast-paced environment. You will also handle lifting of materials over 50 pounds, assist with inventory counts, and support Lean initiatives to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, work instructions, and production documents.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and manufacturing knowledge preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly experience preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools, assembly equipment, and production machinery is a plus.
  • Soldering experience required.
  • Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble laminations, cores, and coils according to engineering specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and assemble manufacturing components using approved methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Safely operate presses and related equipment to laminate coils into steel assemblies.
  • Perform soldering and assembly tasks while ensuring product quality and workmanship standards are met.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Utilize lifting assistance equipment when handling materials weighing more than 50 pounds.
  • Participate in inventory counts and production support activities as required.
  • Meet daily production, efficiency, and quality goals.
  • Support 6S, Lean Manufacturing, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

As a Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.
