Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of manufacturing tasks to support daily operations.
  • Operate coil winding equipment and related machines.
  • Prepare coils by bending, cutting, soldering and wiring.
  • Safely use pneumatic and hydraulic tools and robotic welding equipment.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations following Lean principles.
  • Follow safety policies and quality standards.

Looking for Assembler jobs in Rainsville where craftsmanship and precision come together? This opportunity lets you assemble quality products using hand tools, mechanical skills, and detailed work instructions while helping keep production running efficiently.


Education Requirements


  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, control drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing specifications.

  • Basic math and measurement skills preferred.


Experience Requirements


  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, or industrial labor experience preferred.

  • Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment, or welding equipment is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

  • Strong communication, time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while adapting to changing production needs.


Physical Capabilities


  • Ability to stand for the entire shift in a manufacturing environment.

  • Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.

  • Utilize lift-assist equipment for products weighing over 40 pounds.

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements requiring strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and work in confined or narrow spaces as needed.

  • Comfortable working at a fast pace while meeting production and quality goals.


Job Duties


  • Perform a variety of manufacturing and production tasks to support daily operations and meet customer requirements.

  • Operate coil winding equipment, including bench lathe machines, hand winders, Bachi machines, and Broomfield winding systems.

  • Prepare coils for assembly and testing by bending, shaping, cutting, sanding, soldering, and attaching wires, lugs, and crimps.

  • Safely operate pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools and robotic welding equipment.

  • Mix and apply epoxy and silica sand materials during transformer potting operations while minimizing waste.

  • Use lift-assist devices and material-handling equipment to move products throughout the facility.

  • Participate in physical inventory counts and inventory management activities.

  • Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.

  • Maintain clean, organized workstations in accordance with 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles.

  • Meet established production, efficiency, and quality goals while supporting additional assignments as business needs evolve.
