Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, automotive repair, heavy equipment production, or a related technical environment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency with measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane certifications within 90 days of hire.
- Experience with industrial conduit bending, electrical panel assembly, wire termination, or tube bending equipment is preferred.
- Experience with customized manufacturing, engineered-to-order products, or actuator assembly is a plus.
Job Duties
- Assemble, fit, and align mechanical components using hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, engineering work orders, and customer design specifications.
- Measure, flare, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic tubing and components.
- Install conduit, route wiring, and complete electrical terminations using wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Operate cranes, hoists, forklifts, and rigging equipment to move materials and finished products safely.
- Identify and report assembly, material, or design discrepancies to engineering and quality teams.
- Participate in ongoing training and skills development across multiple assembly disciplines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred.
- Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial.
- Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as an Assembler.
- Experience with industrial conduit bending, electrical panel assembly, or wire termination.
- Hands-on experience operating manual or automated tube bending equipment.
- Experience working with customized, low-volume manufacturing or engineered-to-order products.
- Prior experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, or actuator assembly environments.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
- Use manual dexterity for detailed mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
- Safely work around cranes, forklifts, manufacturing equipment, and moving machinery.

What You Will Do
As an Assembler you will assemble products or components, verify materials, inspect completed work, operate basic production tools, package finished items, and support daily manufacturing goals. You will follow work instructions, maintain organized work areas, identify quality concerns, and contribute to safe, accurate, and efficient factory operations.
- Assemble, fit, and align mechanical components to engineering specifications using hand tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, bills of materials, customer-specific design packages, and engineering work orders to perform assembly operations.
- Interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to measure, flare, bend, and install fluid power tubing and components.
- Set up and operate manual and automated tube bending equipment as skill progression allows.
- Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to install conduit, route wiring, and complete electrical terminations on control panels and actuator assemblies.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and rigging equipment to move materials and finished products throughout the facility.
- Identify and report material, design, or assembly discrepancies to engineering and quality teams.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop proficiency across multiple assembly disciplines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
