Total Talent Solutions is hiring an Assembly Welder in Rainsville, AL. The role involves preparing coils for assembly, bending and attaching wires, and operating crimping and ultrasonic welding equipment within a quality-focused manufacturing setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, blueprint-reading ability, and basic math skills. Training on 1st shift is provided with a two-shift schedule and safety procedures emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, work instructions, and shop aids.
  • Basic math and measurement skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare coils for final assembly and testing while meeting quality and production standards.
  • Bend, shape, cut, and attach wires and lugs according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Operate pneumatic and hydraulic crimping equipment to complete assembly tasks.
  • Use ultrasonic welding equipment to assemble and secure components.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Utilize lifting assistance devices when handling heavier products and materials.
  • Participate in inventory counts and other production support activities as needed.
  • Maintain productivity goals, quality requirements, and manufacturing schedules.
  • Support 6S, Lean Manufacturing, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support changing business and production needs.

Pay Rate: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
Schedule:

  • 1st Shift | 6 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift | 3 PM – 11:30 PM (Training on the 1st shift)

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements
  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial experience preferred.

  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and working in confined or narrow spaces.
  • Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment with varying levels of noise and activity.
