Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Assembler for a 3rd shift role in Mentor, OH (44060). The position is full-time with a pay rate of $18.25/hour on W2 and works 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

You will assemble FDA-regulated devices in a lean, team-based environment and ensure quality workmanship. Responsibilities include following detailed work instructions, performing assembly tasks with various hand tools and presses, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

  • Assemble components with glueing, weaving, packaging, coiling and welding using hand tools and pneumatic presses.
  • Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions and promote a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to shop practices and follow standard work; participate in LEAN activities.

Pay rate: $18.25/hours on W2

Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM (Mon - Fri)

Job Description:

Performs assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled work environment.

Learn and carry out detailed work instructions

Assemble components to include gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, welding using various hand tools and bench top pneumatic presses

Handle and evaluate quality of small parts during manufacturing processes

Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions

Promote and support a safe working environment

Inform team lead/supervisor of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes

Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment

Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment

Supports and promotes LEAN operations by following standard work to include Safety Observations, Idea Generation and Hour by Hour Board updates

Meet quality assurance requirements and complete documentation associated with same
