As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling metal products either partially or completely, working at a bench or on the shop floor. Your role will involve performing various tasks efficiently and productively.

Responsibilities

• Read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.

• Follow verbal instructions accurately.

• Utilize hand tools effectively.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in carpentry and assembly work.

• Experience with wood and pallets.

• Familiarity with hand tools and measuring equipment.

• Understanding of production and automation processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to follow written instructions.

• Effective communication skills with employees of the organization.

• Proficient in basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing environment with two available shifts: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday. A $1 shift differential is available for the 2nd shift. Steel-toed shoes are required, and shorts are not permitted.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frederick, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
